The Simplici-kit comes fully sterilised and assembled. We place everything you need apart from the spores inside the Simplici-bag. When you kit arrives, simply unroll the kit and wipe the injection port ready for injection with your chosen spores.

Packaging up the Substrate Box and pre-moistened perlite inside the Simplici-Bag means that there is no chance of contamination entering the Substrate Box Via the lid to box seal, injection port to lid seal or via a faulty or wet filter strip at any time during the colonisation period.

When you receive your Simplici-Kit product, simply unroll the Simplici-Bag. Shake all the perlite to the bottom of the bag. With ease the Single Self Healing Injection port is cleaned. The included thick gauge Gamma Irradiated STERILE needle is used to pierce the Self Healing Injection Port on the Simplici-Bag. When inside the bag, the needle can be position anywhere on the lid. The Customer can then pierce the lid multiple times to inoculate the Substrate inside the box all in the safety of the Simplici-Bag. It doesn't matter if the lid cracks or breaks during the injections as you are inside the Simplici-Bag already.
When the substrate is fully colonised and all white, you may slide the Easy-Glide-Sealer-Stick to open the bag. Remove the lid from the box and care for the Simplici-Kit in the same way as our standard Dutch Style Grain Box.
Prepare the Simplici-Kit.
To get started. Simply remove the outer WHITE protective bag.
Hold the Simplici-Bag by the coloured Easy-Glide-sealer-Stick. Lift the stick up and the Simplici-Bag will simply unroll its self. You will find the included alcohol swab wrapped up in the bag also. DO NOT WIPE THE INJECTION PORT JUST YET.
Finding the syringe parts
Your syringe/s will come in a sealed bag which will also include your thick 14 gauge needle/s. Please open this packet and choose the syringe you would like to work with. Please also select one needle per syringe but DO NOT OPEN THE NEEDLE PACKET JUST YET..
sETTING uP THE SYRINGE.
You may now proceed to open the needle packet BUT leave the protective needle cap in place.
Quickly unscrew the black protective cap from the syringe and screw the needle in its place. With the needle cap on, the needle is kept sterile until use.

So that you have some space to work in. Please draw some air into the Simplici-Bag by slowly pulling the filter patch away from the rear plastic. DO NOT OPEN THE BAG. Air will slowly be drawn into the bag and this process will inflate the bag a little and give you room to move around.

With space to work you can now use the alcohol swab to clean the injection port. While the port is still wet from the wipe. shake the syringe one more time and remove the protective needle cap and instantly push the needle into the injection port on the Simplici-Bag.
Simplici-bag protects
Once the needle is inside the injection port it is protected by the Simplici-Bag. Take your time to Pierce the Simplici-Lid 1-6 times and inject equal amounts of spore solution into each hole.
Gravity360
When you have injected all the spore syringes contents into the Simplici-Kit. Use gravity to distribute the spore solution more efficiently. To do this simply stand the Simplici-Kit on its end and rotate the kit every 10 seconds.
Using the GRAVITY360 tek will easily take 2 weeks off your colonisation times.

I will also be testing Inject and Forget versions of the following kits soon with a view to have all three substrate types as Inject and Forget Simplici-Kits.
